The TA sounds cool as hell, I cruised behind you for bit after the meeting to see if you were going to gun it a bit, sounds sweet.
And it was pretty cool to talk to Alex about the LT1 for awhile and meet Steve again.
Hey Alex, I haven't told Ryan about you "selling" your rims yet. But my A/C went out so, I will be seeing him pretty soon here.

I know as soon as I say this I am going to hear it but,....

I have been to 2 differnet meetings and also went to dyno day. Here is my opinion, remember the KEY word opinion:
Please do not give me slack for this, i am in no way trying to stur anything up at all just have been wanting to say this for some time.

The meetings I have gone to are poorly organized. Basically its just people meeting and standing around their cars and looking under the hood. Noone goes out of there way to talk to you. I use to be a Ford guy and was the VP of our club. We had a formal meeting and discussed many different topics. We planned trips and shows and everyone had input. We cruised to the local track, went to car shows, and etc.
I really want to be a part of a club that discusses stuff about there cars and helps one another. Does shows and cruises. But I have given it 2 times and its no where close to that..

Remember this is only my thoughts. I am not in anyway trying to offend anyone.

If I didnt think I was stepping on anyones feet I would start a club that met my needs.

you make some great points. Its great that your new because its the new blood that brings in new life... our club has been puttering around a while. I believe its because our leaders are busy. Heck alot of the old guys (I mean members since before the millenium) are busy too. Often times, I believe were all just looking for someone to follow. So a strong leader is always in demand. I dont know that were a "show our stuff" kind of group, but we've had good turn outs at impromptu meets at sonic and last year's cruise to canyon lake. If its organized, Im sure youll get a turn out. Lately its only been dyno days that get us out of our "stand in the parking lot" routine.

Anthony, it's really easy. Take 90 to I35 and go North to IH10 West. Take Interstate 10 West to DeZavala. Exit DeZavala and take a right at the light at the bottom of the hill. I agree with ucrazymonkey,if we're going to have an Fbody group in SA then let's do it right.LET'S GET ORGANIZED!!!!!!!!!! I volunteer my services for anything that would help the group. Hell, there's even a web page in place already but do we use it. Nope.
Ucrazymonkey has experience as the VP of a Ford club. I served as co-president of the Mopar club in SA last year. There has to be people in the group that can handle the rigors of being an officer. I guess it just depends on how much fun everyone wants to have. Personally my TA is the only "creative"
outlet that I have and I enjoy the crap out of it and I enjoy the company of people who have the same intrest.

Alex, it has a badass blue supercharged Ls1 Formula from the Horsepower Store. And I did get an email from Ryan, but he didn't write anything about the rims, I am sure he got crack out of it. He just told me to head to the dealership so he can check my A/c out.
Will this Sonic gathering be a weekely event? Every Tuesday at what time? I am getting my car buffed this evening as soon as the sun goes down, but I would be able to make it to the next one, whenever that may be. Peace.

Alex,

Those rims and an Ultra Z hood would be pretty sweet.
I will probably just stick with my ugly stock silver 16x8's and wrap the them with Nitto's in the rear and Kumho's in the front.
