Quick question to ask?

hey everybody, I have a quick stupid question:shame:. Please excuse the question but I was wondering, I got a pair of 2001 10 spoke 16x8 camaro rims with 235/55-16 tires. I was wondering if I could put them on the front and the rear tires being 16x8 with 245/50-16 nitto drag radials would that be okay? The reason being is I have 17x9 SS rims and I wanna try the drag radials on and just drive around with them to put some miles on them before I go to the track since they are brand new and also I wanna get the feel of them. So my plan was to put the 16in 10 spoke camaro rims with 235/55-16 on the front and the 16in rims with 245/50-16 nitto drags in the rear. So I just wanted to know if that was safe to drive around in. I am sorry for the stupid question and also sorry for it being long. Thanks for your help.

Without actually doing any math, this sounds ok to me.

I'm still trying to figure out why you posted this in the drag racing forum although it isn't really technical, and not a lounge post, so... ok.
