stall it up just before it feels like its gonna break loose...ease it out the whole then punch it

i would go off the line just above idle, wait like half a second then punch it. it was on 17" nittos and i got a best of 1.9 60ft that way. the car will only stall up to like 1-1100 rpms before the tires will start to break loose on a stock convertor.

Definetely get rid of the stock stall. You will see much better 60' times

When I had my stock stall and 3.73's, I just brought the RPM's to about 1000 or so and stomped it as soon as the green light dropped. I got a best of 1.89 on a stock stall doing that with a bolt-on, stock-stalled car on Nitto's.

Ditto. I'm on street tires though. The best I've done is a 1.96.

I bring mine up to about 2 grand and when the green goes I lay into it.No problems with traction as I am running a monster 305:)
