What do you think of this Engine Combo?

I decided not to go with supercharging a crate on my 71 Camaro because with higher compression and low boost it won't put out the numbers I want. So instead, I am going to build my own engine from top to bottom.
*I want to bring my car to the track somewhat often as well as it being a weekend cruiser so reliability isn't at the top of my list*
Okay here's the main parts I'm thinking of for the 350:

Block: Dart Iron Eagle (9.025 in deck, 4.125 in bore)

Pistons: Speed Pro (Forged) Flat Top

Connecting Rods: Manley (Steel) 5.7''

Heads: Edelbrock Victor Jr. 23* (70cc)

Cams: Comp Cams Magnum Hydraulic (286/286, maybe 292H)

Intake: Either Edelbrock Victor Jr. or Edelbrock Air Gap RPM

Carb: Demon 800

*I already have an entire MSD ignition system (distributor, wires, coil, and box)

Lastly, I have a TH-350 and will put in a 3000 stall. Thanks for the help.

what ci are you wanting to run? If your gonna shell out the cash for the Iron Eagle block you should pull a 434 or something. Otherwise the block is a waste of money.

Since your gonna be spending alotta money on the block, might as well take a step up and buy weisco or ross pistons. They are better than the speed pros

Max cubes, Super victor Jr. AFR 210 heads, JE or weisco or ross pistons, a good forged crank and rods Holley HP or Demon carb and a huge solid roller cam. If you plan on spraying it in the future keep that in mind for the cam and pistons. If you spray it go for alot of comp. and just run 110 octain all the time. I have a buddy in the low 9s with a similar combination with a 300 shot of gas.

everything look great but why not go with a solid roller cam instead, I've got one in the 406 and love it

If you're using that block you can go 4.185 x 4.125 and get a 454 small block.

And if you aren't using a power adder, then go for 6" rods.
