Do not use a sponge on clear coat, sponges are plastic and have no nap to wisk away debris that can cause paint scratching. The best thing I have found is to use an all cotton deep pile wash mit, the kind you put your hand in, and just glide it over the surface, NO hard rubbing is required if you already have a car that has surface protectant on it like Zaino.

I do use the Absorber to dry with, or you can use a Micro Fiber towel (see below) I will say that if you use The Absorber you better be a really good washer and not leave any dirt or debris on the paint as The Absorber also has no nap. The reason I use the Absorber is that I do not like to get my towels wet and have to deal with those.

On to micro fiber, there are two basic kinds, man made and natural fiber. I only use the natural fiber kind myself as I like how they feel better and how they react on the paint. The natural ones are made by www.dftowel.com and they are cellulose and cotton blend. The other type are man made and are a blend of polyester and nylon.

Its good that you are thinking about this, as if you have improper tools, all the Zaino in the world will do you no good.

As said a cotton wash mitt, a good liquid car wash, a leaf blower and 100% white cotton towels, and you have what you need. :)
