Who sells the sequential tail light kit?Lt1 and Ls1 11-30-2003, 08:42 PM Just wondering who sold those. I believe they are called sequential taillights or something. Dark Angel 11-30-2003, 08:47 PM PMed ya. Capn Pete 11-30-2003, 09:27 PM Oh, no! Not sequential taillights?!:( My buddy put them on his '96 T/A...............they still haven't grown on me:think:. SWINGRRR 11-30-2003, 09:27 PM Also, http://www.webelectricproducts.com/products.htm sells them. Not sure if that is what Dark was talking about, just another option. ibanez6rg 11-30-2003, 09:45 PM Brent Franker has a write-up on his site. www.bfranker.badz28.com 93Z286Speed 12-01-2003, 09:47 AM i also would like to do this, looks kinda complicated?!?!? not sure though,,, anyone do this to there car, and have pictures? notstock4long 12-01-2003, 11:59 AM I have never heard of these. It isn't very hard. There's a few wires you have to cut for each taillight and then connect the sequencer wires to those. It'll take maybe an hour or two. But for some reason mine are not working correctly:confused: Tair 12-01-2003, 12:57 PM Are these street legal? Brent94Z 12-01-2003, 04:12 PM Originally posted by KillerTA But for some reason mine are not working correctly:confused: All the aftermarket sockets that are usually about $5 that I have found are TERRIBLE! I just broke down and spent the $18 each on them at the dealer because I got tired of them coming on intermittently. The sockets aren't designed properly and the bulb doesn't get seated firmly enough in place. This could be your problem. ronin013 12-01-2003, 05:49 PM guy on www.fbody.com sold a bunch a while ago i belive but i wasnt interested. i think a couple people stiffed him on money so he may have some left, i heard his worked good, i think his member name was tbone. i could try to get a hold of him if anyone wants Dark Angel 12-01-2003, 08:02 PM I got mine from http://www.sequentialtaillights.com/ . Marvin does a complete kit with sockets, templates, video and everything. Look under the Impala section. If you do it right with the swapping out the corners to the dual filiment bulbs, it might take a little while. I have procedures to convert a 97+ car to the 93 - 96 lights, to do this with. http://www.thedarkangel.info/conversion.htm notstock4long 12-01-2003, 09:08 PM Wow, those are nice. So if I am reading it correctly, it comes with a new turn signal flasher too right? If so, I am gonna order the full kit this week. Dark Angel 12-01-2003, 10:23 PM Yep, it comes with the flasher. kgkern01 12-02-2003, 12:06 AM Originally posted by Tair Are these street legal? I would believe so, it makes your turn signal more noticeable, plus some of the classic Mercury Cougars came this way stock. A friend of mine had a 68 or 69 conv Cougar that did this, pretty cool, he always had compliments on them. | ||
