Wax on vinyl

Ok, so, I got wax on my external vinyl parts.. and no clue how to get it off! What do I need to do? I thought about removing them all, and washing them in some dawn in my bathtub... is there an approach that doesn't involve dissasembling my car?

let it dry till it's white then scrub it with a toothbrush to get it off then dress with your favorite dress. :D

Try scrubbing it with dawn (dawn strips wax), i've also heard of using peanut butter but i've never tried that before so I'm not sure if it really works

ive heard of peanut butter and also rubbing alcahol.

I had a bottle of Back to black lying around and tryed it. Its like a black polish for plastic and rubber used to restore it. IT worked very well since the spot wasnt very big.
