Zaino by the ounce

Okay, we all agree that zaino is one great product but my beef with Sal is he should make bigger sized bottles. My 02 firehawk went through two bottles of Z-2, two bottles of Z-6, 1 bottle each of Z-7, Z-10 and Z16 the first year. I've had two orders and I'm considering a third order for next year. My first order was around $200.00 US and I ordered Z-1 and ZFX. I guess I should have read every paragraph before I ordered? Now I'm stuck with Z-1 I'll never use. If Sal made bigger bottles we wouldn't have to order as many times and we'd get a deal on large size bottles. Are you listening Sal? Probably not, but he should give the customer what he wants. Therefore I'm using other products on parts of my car. Why should I use Z-16 on the dash when I can get a gallon of 303aerospace protectant for a fraction of the price? Don't try and tell me Z-16 works better on the dash cause I've tested both and it doesn't. We consumer's need to speak up about what we want so chime in guys and let Sal know the score. :irk:

Z-16 isn't meant for dash board cleaning... Z9 works for that... you are using the wrong product.

One bottle of Z2 polish is typically enough to do 32 or so coats on a car... you are the first perosn Ive heard say Sal is short-changing the customer by not offering a bigger bottle.

I don't know if he still offers this, but Sal used to offer a discount on a case (12-count) of any given product... if it is that importnat, perhaps you should purchase by the case.

As for the Z1/ZFX... don't know what to say, except you should have read better... it is pretty clear, really.

He pretty much hit in on the head. I find it takes me well over a year to use up a bottle of Z2 or Z5, and I use it obsessively.

Even Z7, which I used a capful of every week, tends to last a while.

I generally place 2 orders a year of about $25.

So anyone who says Zaino is expensive, it just too lazy to try it.

If the bottles were any bigger, they'd take forever to go through, and the product wouldn't be as fresh when you got to the end of the bottle. IMHO.

And 303 works best on dashboards, I admit that. Solution, buy 303 and save Z16 for the wheels where it's supposed to go.

Z16 works wonders on black exterior trim though!:eek:

I use Z-10 on my dashes as I like the UV protection and I like absolutely zero gloss or shine on my dashes, even 303 is too much shine for me.....

Only way i.m.o zaino could be better is 2 offer it in 1 gal. size, we would love to use it at the detail shop but we just us alot of anything cuz of vol.,nomatter what it is but i guess he dosent want it to be commercialized like the others i guess it would loose all it's glory and be like all the rest of the big guy's just my 2 cent's

My mistake Darth, it was Z-10 leather conditioner I was using on the dash before the 303. I wash my car every week and the Z-7 car wash says to use like 2 or 3 cap fulls per gallon, are you telling me 1 cap is enough? I know I've spread my Z-2 a little thick and will try using less per coat. But the Z-6 gloss enhancer is recommended after every wash and I use it faithfully, 2 bottles in a year and third one coming up. Maybe I spread the Z-6 too thick too? Someone said you can water it down 50/50? I was wondering if that works as good? I love the smell of that stuff. For tires I only use Z-16, I here it's good for the weather-stripping but I'm back to the 303 for that cause I bought a gallon of it and love it. I don't find 303 to be too shiny on the dash, just my opinion.

yes u can cut it 50/50 but use distilled water not tap so u dont get hard water spots, but i do it and still works great u can use more at one time and it won't dry up so fast on the car and u get 2 for 1 nice on the $ fold:)

You should get at least 3 coats per oz. on your car, I can get 2 coats per oz on my Escalade, use it like it's gold, you really do not need much at all. Washing your car with Z-7 you can use one to two capfuls, you do not need much, the same is true for Z-6, you can probably use 8-10 trigger sprays to do your whole car, Zaino products are very concentrated and you do not need much to go a long way
