info on toyotas 358 cu.in and a new corolla model, now i'm a bit partial to corollas cause i got one, but now they want to make a XRS which is a stock corolla with a celica 6-speed and engine that makes gives the car 40hp more and no more tq. and 10mpg drop from 40mpg highway they will probably charge about 19-20k for it and i would like to be the first to say its gonna be a market failure(especially when compared to the srt-neon)

I知 confused, did I read that right?
They are going to put a V8 and a 6 speed auto in the Corolla for 20 grand?
I知 guessing its going to be FWD?
Hmmm, I知 not a big fan of FWD drive but it sounds like a deal to me.
Rather have an Impala though.

I agree, it will flop, the SVT focus didn't sell as well as Ford wanted and that had close to the same power and price.

In this new segment if you don't have a Turbo or Supercharger, your not a player.
