I don't know if this has been discussed before , but i hear the GTO's marketing/advertising is in the vicinity of $55 million, that unprecedented for a car of so small volume... maybe its to do with the image they want to portray of the GTO and have rub off on the other poncho cars...

to compare the CTS's advertising back when it was launched was $75 million.

there is an article ... i will try and find it

thats the one... ok its doesn't actually say that "yes" the the GTO's budget is 50 mill, but suggests it could be...

dang 50mill, isnt that way more than what it cost to actually make the car a GTO ...

there are all sorts of ads popping up everywhere ,

I think fifty million is what they spent on Camaro and Firebird advertising combined between 1967 and 2002.

Yeah but think about the cool commercials we will start seeing in about 3 or 4 years. You know this “new” GM won’t let the Camaro fall on its face again. They have to and they will advertise the 5th Gen. I can’t wait!

Come on guys the glass is half full now!

IT’S COMING!
