Virginity lost ...

I finally took the SS to the track last night. I got there around 8:30 so I only got 2 runs. I could have got three but I speant too much time BSing with the Cobra that beat me in the 2nd run. He didn't tell me what he had under the hood. He just said that he had to cheat to be able to keep up with his buddy's WS6. It was pretty close though. It seemed like I had a lot more traction in the right lane than the left. Anyway It ran 13.8 @ 104 on F1's @ 38 psi. I forgot to drop down the air pressure. Oops. It hit rev limiter about 50 feet before the lights in 3rd. Otherwise it would have been a little faster. Still happy with that.

It wasn't too crowded. I've definately seen much worse.

nto sure if its the track or my tires turned magical, but I got silly last time i was there and "bumped" my rear PSI, 44 psi, hot, so maybe 40 psi, after they cooled down, I pulled my best 60' ever in my car. 2.078, and consitent 2.1s. Maybe some day I will hit my goal of a 1.999 60' on street tires.

You mean like from under the car? no. I can take one from the rear if you want. They are basically just straight pipes from the shorty headers that are bent and welded together Where the Y pipe would be. Then they curve over the rear end and out the back into two flowmasters under the bumper.
