Darth Xed 11-25-2003, 11:26 AM I just tried Z16 for the first time... and I have to say I am very impressed!
The product seems to 'soak into' the tire rather that 'sit' on the surface like most everything else I have trie.
Absolutely ZERO slinging of product... super easy to apply... it's a liquid, so it spreads out perfectly.
It goes on evenly, so you don't have areas of the tire with more product than another area, giving a nice, uniform look.
About the only thing I would say that I might like to see is a higher gloss version, though I do think the 'satin' gloss finish looks very clean and nice.
Error 11-25-2003, 11:31 AM I tried other stuff, but keep coming back to Z16. It never produces a deep shine, but it keeps my tires looking dark black and new.
My 43,000 mile old Goodyears looked brand new when I brought them in... just bald
Darth Xed 11-25-2003, 11:58 AM Ya, this is defeinately my favorite tire product that I have used !!(big surprise there... :) )
Drumhawk 11-26-2003, 06:23 AM I agree, Z-16 is the only tire care product I'll ever use again. It only takes a couple of minutes to do the tires.
Darth Xed 11-26-2003, 09:01 AM Up until just now (trying the Z16) I used Meguire's Endurance for the tires... I think it is probably the best shelf-bought product I have found... but, again, I don't see me using that product any longer, for the simple fact that it, like most other, "slings" off the tires...

That's Z16 on my wheels. In my opinion it's perfect gloss for me, doesn't look "intentionally shiny".

Camaro_Guru16NY 11-28-2003, 07:22 PM Looks good. But I like Stoner more shine less time much better. It also has no spray off and being an aresol it coats much more evenly.
Later,

Marky82 11-28-2003, 09:20 PM I hate the "Satin" look, I like my tires to look like glass. I use black magic (but i pay for that high gloss with LOTS of slinging!)
Markolc 11-29-2003, 12:10 AM Thanks Kevin. I frequent the Impy forum much more than I do this one, but the Impy forum doesn't have as good as a detailing and maintenance forum as this one. Car looks great man!
Drumhawk 11-29-2003, 08:52 AM Kevin, you take outstanding care of your cars, like me only better. That pic of that Iroc looks like showroom. In fact, I was out shopping for a new vet yesterday and none of the cars in the showroom had a nice zaino finish like mine. So I'd say zaino is better than showroom, it makes your paint immac. :thumb:
