Suggested injector size w/ P1SC

I'm getting ready to install a P1SC on my 93 Z28. I guess I'll install the FMU for now and wanted to know what size injectors I would need for now.

I've got a set of Lingenfelter CNC'ed heads and a port matched intake and a 52mm Holley in the garage but I probably wont install them for several more months. Will I need to change injectors again when I change the heads?

Its a stock motor w/ a set of LT4 springs and 1.6 roller rockers. Borla headers and catback and it already has a NOS inline fuel pump. I'm also running the LTCC, so I can retard the timing if need be.

I do plan on flashing a new chip and will probably flash an additional one to remove the need of running the FMU.

Also, what fuel pressure is recommended for a starting point.

Thanks in advance.

Sell the FMU, it doesn't seem to like non-stock injector sizes. Go with a 36lb set and some tuning.

Go ahead and get some 42#'s atleast. It won't hurt to have the bigger ones in there incase you decide to pump up the boost later on or add more mods. Hell if it were me I would go ahead and get some 50's .

If you do not plan on running the ported heads right away then you can get away with running some 24 lb injectors. I am assuming that you are going to run 8lbs of boost. There is no reason you need 50 lb injectors.

Wait....Those ATI fmu's don't like larger than stock injector's? I have 30 lb Accell's and am getting ready to bolt on a P600b kit with an fmu!....Metlegleo...Do you have the inline pump from the kit? I would be interested in it because i didn't get one when i bought a used kit.

I have a inline pump from my old P600B. Make me an offer.

24# injectors should work for now and yes you will probably need to change then when you do the head swap.

My FMU worked great with my stock injectors, but once I bumped up to 30's- I couldn't get it to perform consistantly. So, I ditched it and added bigger injectors. And yes, I have the inline. :)
