How many of you are running a 11.5" street/drag on a salad shooter? Did you have to "massage" the fenders at all? Anyone have any pics?

Thanks.

I've seen it done a lot, never asked about hammer jobbing it though. I'll ask someone asap...

I would like to see some pics of a 11.50 on a stock size rim if anyone has them. :)

I run this tire on a set of my saladshooters...Didn't have to "fab" anything..just bolt-on, and "fire'm up!!"

Same here I have a set in the garage right now. They actually hook alot better than the 10.5's also.

I know a bunch of guys that run them with no issues but you need to be aware that Mickey Thompson recommends a 10" rim for them.

26x11.5's on salad shooters. Worked great until I ran over a staple at the track. So I had them screwed/tubed and they once again work great.

I used to run a pair of 26x11.5's also. I didn't run tubes or have to do any fender mods. Never had a problem with them.

OK, has anybody run a 28 x 11.5 on a salad shooter? What about fitment with those?

At a very minium you may need to roll the fender with those.

Mine are 28 x 12.5 x 15's and I had to cut the lower fender back a couple of inches to make them fit. Also, the top of my rear fenders have already been re-worked and they come real close to hitting on the launch, plus I have the proper size rims. I got them to slow down my 60' times and make me more consistent for bracket racing which has a 12.00 cutoff in Street Et at my local track.
