First let me thank Jason and Chris for their assistance in getting started as a Supporting Advertiser. Thanks guys.

This GP will run until December 10th and orders will start shipping around Dec 1st.

I know a lot of you have read the previous post on this.. The DMH piece is definetly one in a million .. Very nicely put together and operates great. Perfect seal and everything .. Hands down, you can't beat it.

Oh, ps. I have one hooked up to my borla, makes the car sound completely muffled when it's closed, b ut, when it's open, oh man :D

I really like this product, if you haven't guessed :D

THERE IS A GOD :D Now I can finally get rid of this PIECE OF $HIT MCCORD CUTOUT :mad: mine lasted like 3 months for me and then crapped out on me :mad: the motor like JUST DIED :mad: and that rat bastard keith mccord and his great customer service in the begining isn't so great once he sell's you his POS product!! :thumbdown: I mean I didn't care if I had to pay to get it fixed, but this guy just DOES NOT want to stand behind his product :roll:

I have heard Seans car with this cutout open and it sounds A LOT meaner than mine. I think mine sounds great but Seans sounds like....Well, let me put it this way. I needed a napkin from the happy accident that I was about to have :eek:

I've got a question for you guys regarding single vs. dual cutouts.

If I'm going to be running a Y-Pipe with single exhaust back, would it be wiser to put a cut out in each pipe off the collector going to the y? Or put one after the Y...cheaper that way...

All sizes are the same I assume?

Also, the headers I'm using are 3" collectors, if I was going to use a single cut out, would it be wise to step that up to 3.5-4", and combine them into the cutout, then run 4" cutout-back to open it up as much as possible up to and beyond the cutout?

AFTER the Y.. Two before the Y-pipe would be WAYYYY overkill :)

So if I was planning on running them straight off LT's that wouldn't be wise? I know I won't have anything low end b/c of lack of back pressure, but I really don't plan on launching anything less the 3200rpms with them open...

Just another thumbs-up for a good product.

I have the car that Dave test-fitted the opener on, and have had it since then. He has been very good with fixing anything that happens to go wrong.

Definitely a great piece! Seals perfectly and opens quickly!

Being able to accept credit cards isn't exactly cheap. I'm sure he loses less business in a year than it would cost him to accept credit cards. This doesn't mean its not a professional place though.

Try LS1Speed. They are running a sale on the QTECs.

Not to bash on you Islandz, but your not gonna order cuz u cant use a credit card? You can use a credit card through paypal by the way. Go buy a qtec cuz they take credit cards. And then when it breaks in 6 months you wish u bought the dmh. I have heard this first hand from many people out there. Do it right the first time, even if u cant order with a credit card. :D

It's the only way I CAN order. I don't live in the US so Paypal won't work. and money order obviously won't either.

Well u can count me in. Its just that i want to do a dual cut out set up. Im not sure if its gonna work on my car or not. I got mac headers, ypipe, and offroad pipe. If anyone can help me out that would be great. Im just not anywhere near my car right now to look at it and see if it will fit. So that would be two cut outs, at the least im getting one FOR SURE. I have already emailed DMH so he knows my situation.

sent my money order to him on tuesday. I sent it to him UPS next day air. So he recieved it on wednesday. I haven't heard anything back from him yet though. Not sure when he will be sending them out.

I'll take one too.

He sent me an email back yesterday. My shipment is leaving on monday.:D I can't wait. I'll have it before christmas.

Islandz, you can pay with a credit card through paypal. You do not have to be in the US to do it. I just looked it up, you can pay with yen if u wanted too. paypal does international payments since they are owned by ebay and ebay does international auctions. How hard are these things to wire up? Is it an electrical signal that operates them or is it cable ran? (Like a hood release)

from what I understand, you can set the cutout anywhere from fully closed to fully open, depending on your taste.

The cutout will open or close when you press on the rocker switch. As soon as you let off the rocker switch it will cutout will stop moving so it is fully adjustable (from partially open/closed to All the way closed or open.)

It seems like it would be harder on it to only keep it partially open. I dont know a lot about what goes into the construction or what kind of tests they go through though.

If I had the money I would definitely get one. Like I said in the other thread: I would be all about redoing his site for one. ;) I'm jealous of you guys. :bow:

If your talking about Dave, I sent him an email last night and got a reply within 20 minutes.

That would bring the count to 17 people, unless some changed their minds. anyways, I'd like to know when our orders will ship out as well. thanks.

It took just a little over 2 weeks to recieve my cutout. It was waiting on me when I got home today. It looks like a great product and it was well worth the wait. Quality work takes time:D

Just got mine today:D!!! Just for the hell of it, I hooked it up to a 12v power supply to see how well it performs. It takes about 3 secs to open, or close, it's very smooth, and seems pretty easy to just tap the buttom for partially open or shut.

Yeah but for Hawaii, UPS packages can only be shipped next day or second day air. So that is probably why he got his faster. Other then that it could of been shipped priority mail which is still faster then ups ground from where it was coming from.

I just got mine welded on today. I'm gonna hook it up tonight. I let you guys know how i like it.

I got mine already installed and running, great product;) :thumb: :thumb:

Now I got one question regarding warranty. In the box where cutout came in, there is no receipt or any other proof of purchase. There is just a printout sheet stating that there is 4 years of warranty for the product. How will you guys know who bought what and when, and how much warranty are they entitled?

yeah, it was shipped priority mail for the same price, without any annoying additional fees many places add! I actually paid for mine on 11-27, I believe. It was ready to ship on 12-6, then came in 4 days, which is exactly 2 weeks total. oh, it's sooo worth the wait.

Going around the island there is only one road that takes you all the way around. Near the airport , resorts and hotels are located there are plenty of roads. When you go around the island there is a lot of hills (volcano's I think) and unpopulated land. They even have goats.

You guys in CA with alarms better turn them off when I cruise down the street, because if you don't, as of tomorrow in just three... I said THREE seconds, you're gonna feel the pain!!!! :D

Still waiting for my cutout. The answer to the Q. is, no there isn't a lot of freeway stretch to cruise at for very long. On the island of Oahu maybe there is a stretch of about 10 miles. On the Big island maybe 30 miles. You guys on the mainland are lucky to be able to drive long distances on the highway.:) See ya all laters,

i just got an email from the guy dmh cencering the qait, i guess our group purchase depleated their supply of flowtechs so if you ordered a cutout with the flowtech (as did i) it will be shipped tommarow the 18th , hope that helps

Well, thats good but for you I guess but I didn't order a flowtech version. Just a Borla version.

Just got mine today, it took about 2 weeks but then that includes the time it took for them to receive my check. Cant wait till spring to try it out!!!!:cool:

Got mine in today took only 10 days, but I live only 90 miles from DMH perf. Wife won't let me open it till X-mas. :(
