DARK AGE 53 11-23-2003, 09:04 AM I haven't tried it but doesn't it have a money back guarentee, I might try it on my daily driver but I doubt I'd use it on my Camaro. JMO Al 1dreamz 11-23-2003, 09:19 AM I'm not sure if it works or not but the idea does. I work in the water purification field and the spotless car washes use an method known as ion exchange. The way it works is water passes through charged resin beads which attract the impurities in the water. If you have no impurities in the water the water will dry without spots, as water spots are the minerals etc left behind after the water dries. My gut instinct tells me this probably wouldn't work perfectly or for too many washes. From what i have seen it is fairly small and I'm wondering how they recharge the resin??
