Ok, i need to buy an 8pt roll bar for my camaro. I'm a little up in the air about it still but i'm hoping some of u guyz can settle me a bit more. I was really looking into Art Morrison stuff becuase his bars and cages fit awesome in the cars i've seen, very tight and very cleanly bent bars. However my camaro is still a street car and gets to see anywheres from 60-100 miles per week i'd say depending on weather (never driven in poor weather) and i was also thinking about the roll bars witht he swing out side door bars, who makes these? Any recommendations to any others? All i ask is that it fits nice and tight against all the walls in the car, but at the same time i dont want to get a custom cage put in if i dont have too.
Notes: Looking for 1 3/4 inch steel tubing, must be NHRA/ IHRA legal.
Thanks, Mike

Morrison does make nice cages.
So far as the swing out door bars, you can add them to any cage. Morrison, Alston, Chassisworks, S&W all make kits to do it, and they can also be taken completely out when you are not at the track.
Just make sure you need a cage, and not a 8-point roll bar... with a cage you'll also need a window net.

??confused?? Thanks for the reply bro, very must appreciated, i did say i was looking for a 8pt bar, not a cage haha, maybe u just misread..
My motor is putting out approx. 600-650hp, i will have exact numbers in Jan/Feb when i get it dyno'd. But i am kind of on the boarderline as for the Bar vs. Cage, by the IHRA rule book i'm only requiced to have a 6pt bar i believe (at least 6pt is required down to 10.00 i believe), but its more for personal reassurance, i mean if i'm running mid 10s in the quarter and i flip the think i'd like to live and talk about it :)
Keep the replies comming!

Don't forget the padding, the 5 pt harnesses, and the brain bucket. No point in putting in a cage if you head has the potential to bounce off of it unprotected.
