79 camaro questionm_cass2000 11-19-2003, 03:57 PM I need to know if I can put a 84 camaro steering column in a 79 camaro. Both are z28's, but what can I do? talos 11-19-2003, 05:01 PM anything can be done with enough money, its not an easy job and will probably be more money then its worth... but the first question that pops up will be.... why? m_cass2000 11-19-2003, 07:15 PM I have a 79 camaro z28 with a broken steering column and I have an 84 camaro z28 that I have been parting out that is why I asked but would it be cheeper to get a 79 or can I use the 84. What would have to been done if I use the 84? talos 11-21-2003, 03:07 AM just find a stock replacement, or go to a junker... makes life easyer m_cass2000 11-21-2003, 09:04 AM ok! I just rebuilt the one in my 87 chevy 4x4, it was flopping like a limp dick. or try a place like camaro heaven, its a salvage yard. You should be able to find there website.
