I don't have a firebird, I used to have a 94 trans am. I work at an oil change on the weekends, and these two cars came in in the same half hour and got me thinking. It was a 2000 GTP with the Eaton (its an eaton right??) blower, and then a v6 2000 Firebird. My question is, what would it take to put a roots type blower (the GTP supercharger) on a 3.8l firebird? Would you just need a new intake made and maybe a chip? How much boost will the block handle? Or would you be better off just getting a v8 Trans am?
