any trick to this? mine are beat up for brake dust and other misc scratches. thinking about hitting them with 600 grit, and spraying them with some type of silver(anybody know what GM/AFS uses for there "silver' wheels?)

I painted my engine bay, so I figure this can't be much harder. Should I do a 2 stage, or can I get away with a singe stage paint?

thanks

There are companies that will powder coat rims pretty cheap. I'm sure it'll be a higher quality finish than spray painting them. Look up on google for powder coating companies. I found one in Houston (can't remember the name) that would do rims for a pretty dang good price. It's been a few months so I don't remember the details.

When you painted your engine bay, was that with the motor out? Can you give some tips if you didnt remove it. What all did you remove? I want to get my car painted, but dont want to pull the motor, cause I need it everyday. I am pretty good with the spary gun, just looking for some tips. THNX
