i was just wondering a few things.
first....i was wondering if any of you had bought one of the shift improvers...the ones that hook into the wiring harness in-line with your tranny.....and if you are happy with the results.

second....i was wondering about the gains i would get from certain products. a msd ignition control box (i already have the coils), or a holley 58mm throttle body, or some pacesetter ceramic headers. my car is basically stock....its a 3.8 with an intake, exhaust, and msd coils

thanks

The MSD DIS-4 lot of people will tell you doesn't do much on the 3.8 but makes a definate improvment on the 3.4. I, on one hand, thinks it help through SOTP feel. Is it enough to spend like $230 on it brand new, no way. You could get a cam or some rocker arms for those prices. If you get a cheap used on way later, go for it.
The Holly TB won't work without major modifications. Best you could hope for is to polish your tb and change to a '99+ MAF sensor.
Headers are always a good idea, you have a choice from CIA, RK Sport and Pacesetter. CIAs are too expensive, RK Sports leak unless you weld them, Pacesetters you can't beat for the price.
Alot of people say plug in shift improvers ruin your tranny, but have never heard ONE person say it ever has ruin theirs. I would imagine since they build pressure, a tranny with alot of miles wonuldn't be a good idea though.
