what kind of switch is needed for a nos opener?

spdt momentary? is what i have heard, is that correct?

wow... nobody has a NOS brand opener?

I need some help, i have only run NX products, and they use a DPDT momentary... but im hnow sure on this nos one.

The switch that is supplied with the NOS bottle opener is a momentary double-pole/double throw. But you don't need a double-pole, only a single pole. It has to be a 12V/25-amp switch because it wires directly to the opener solenoid, and not to a relay.

wow... 25 amps... thats a lot of juice, i guess the 18 gauge wire i was going to use is too small for that..

You definitely need more than 18-ga wire. It might not actually draw 25-amps, but you need a switch rated that high, not the typical 6-amp or 10-amp rated switch.
