i just bought a 94 TA and really hate the look of that black box on my red car. I have seen that many people have removed it i was wondering if it left any holes. i would find out for myself but its still at the dealership fixing minor problems.

Unsure if this differs for Firebirds, but my 96 Camaro's bracket was held on by two T-30 or T-50 (can't remember which) Torx screws. Now that its off, there are a couple of holes there, but I am planning on buying a grille insert to put over them anyways. Hope this helps!

i have a 95 t/a and the guy that had the car before me had the plate removed. he worked at a dealership and they filled the holes and just matched the paint to the bumper. you can't even tell that there were holes there. if you really don't want to deal with the small holes that are gonna be left in the bumper then just bring it to a body shop and find out how much it would be to fill the holes. you could prolly even use touch up paint to paint over it.
