I have a tailight that has faded and is darker than my other tailight. I would like to know if there is any way to bring back the brightness of the tailight. They are the honeycomb lights that come on the 98-02 firebirds. The red part of the lens has become darker. Please reply

When I read the title I thought you were talking about something else..

I actually thought it was sounding like a bad a$$ idea I've had..

I've seen the sequential turn signals, but most F-Bodies tail lights arent arranged with enough sections/lights to really use sequential mods.. (some are but not all)

I was thinking of maybe making a circuit that either just lets the lights come on instantly, and then fade out in about 2 seconds or so when you let off the brakes..

Or when they come on, they could be blinked a few times or so from nothing to full brightness back to nothing, finally coming on and staying on full till you release the brakes, when it would then fade out for the two or so seconds to nothing.

It could be attached right after the brake peddle switch so to reduce splicing and other wiring hassles.

I'm not sure if this is illegal since I've seen vehicles with brake lights that blink when they come on.. Mainly UPS, FESEX, USPS and other forms of company based transportation.. I've also seen it on bikes but there's loop holes for bikes in regards to that matter.
