i have had 18's on my car for about a year now, and I recently (sunday) changed the front tires from 245/40/18 to 245/45/18. When i changed the tires, the mechanic told me that my right front disc brake was worn out. I thought, no big deal, and would change it the followign week. now....as soon as i put these new- used tires on, the car started shaking horribly. @ 45 the steering wheel is shaking, but the car stays straight. it has been like this ever since...especially @ low speeds. WHat could be the prblem? thanks!

Check to make sure everything was put on correct.

If it has vibration, the tires might just need to be balanced? You did say they were used, right?

Make sure your frount wheel bearings don't have to much play in them too.

first, thanks for all the help. well, i found the problem...the rim is dented, and the balance is horrible. i am going to need to reshape the rim...:(
