can i wash?PurplePonyEatr 11-07-2003, 09:25 AM I just got my car back from being painted Wednesday. Before I picked it up, he waxed it with Meguires #7 before he gave it to me (there are swirl marks already :mad: ). Anyway, he didn't give me any specific directions concerning washing, so you think I could hand wash it Saturday? He must have felt confident in it to hand wax it, so I'm assuming I can hand wash it. That is all you need, use the wool pad and the compound and then the foam with the Swirl Mark remover, it will be smooth as glass and shine like hell. swirl marks are not that big of a problem, hell take it to a body shop if you don't want to do it yourself and ask then to buff and polish the car to remove the swirls....:rolleyes: We cut and buff some cars a day after it is out of the booth, hell if the car is painted in the morning we will buff a blend in the afternoon and we don't have a bake booth. And i use the process stated above. | ||
