exhaust stains on back bumper

What do you guys recommend to get the stains off. I tried using a plain damp towl with a little soap. It did nothing. The car had a big miss in it and was spewing black smoke out the pipes. Now that it is fixed I need to get rid of the residue thats left.

Maybe some rubbing compound or tar remover might work. That would be my best guess at getting it off.

I had the same problem not too long ago and I used these things called Mr. Cleans Magic Eraser that I bought at the grocery store for like $2 bucks. It worked awesome! No sign of any stains left. Just don't rub TOO hard. Rub gently and it should all come off and look good as new. :thumb:

try a cleaner wax or polish somthing that has a paint cleaner in it shuld do the trick:)
