Installed a swaybar and wow

I orderd the suspension techniques 35mm front and 25mm rear swaybars from summit. I got the rear about 2 days after ordering them, but the front is on back order tell the 14th of this month :( . anyway i installed just the rear and it made a huge difference. it keeps the rear end realy flat in the corners, gives it that "on ralis" feel. I kinda wish i would have ordered the swaybars befor i did the stb and sfc's. o well not like i wasnt going to get them anyway :D. up next (after i get the frond sway installed and some cash) im thinking eibach springs, koni sa shocks, relocation brackets, and an adjustable panhard bar. What do you guys think, should this be a good setup?

BTW the car is just about a daily driver, im not trying to set it up for auto x or anything, just some realy fun drivin on the weekends.

i've never heard of the 35mm front and 25mm rear bars.

the only ones i know of are the 32mm front and 21mm rear. Everyone that has those loves them. What is the difference? Are yours hollow and the others aren't or what?

The suspension techniques bars are solid. I was thinking of going with the BMR sway bars, but from what i found on this board and others the suspension techniques are realy good, so i ordered them. after all bigger is better :D. anyway just having the rear bar installed makes the car feel much better. i cant wait for the front to come in.

on ebay theres a guy selling 24mm rear sway bars, Can u provide a link to the 25mm rear sway bar?

The SLP 32mm front is like $80, and the rear 21mm is like $60. I've heard they are really good for the money, and most are that size anyway.

How does the price AND performance compare with the 35 and 25 mm bars?

i beleive those are hollow bars, which is much less stiff than solid obviously.

the Suspension Techniques stuff is VERY popular on the AutoX board. alot of guys argue that only the front 35 is needed. and they know what they are talking about.

as for the BMR, they are 32/21mm SOLID bars, with all poly bushings and endlinks for just over $300....

and they make a nite and day difference in the handling of the car...i love mine.

"RKSport" sells a solid 35MM/25MM swaybar package (poly end links, D bushings), I have them installed on my 2001 Z28. I noticed quiet a difference in the way the car felt and handled, however this size has ALWAYS been hotley debated, some people say "the bigger the better", and some say not to go over 32MM/21MM.

The general concensus is that "25MM" is too much bar for the rear, I really do not understand why, unless you are auto crossing.

I do know that the RKSport package will add weight to the car, a very heavy setup.

The SLPs are perfect for daily drivers,not too stiff and you will feel a difference.
