how much n2o on stock lt1

hey guys there is this kid with a ls1 camaro with a few things done to it, in town that says he has the second fastest car around(right under my buddies 69 supercharged camaro...well hes not even close but i want to just blow him away so how much could i spray on a stock lt1 and be safe? or should i just wait until i have the normal bolt ons before i do this?

I totally agree.

i spray 150 on stock timming and stock fuel system with 100octane with a ngk tr6 plug.. some may not call it safe but it didn't fail me.. now i got smart and put a msd digital 6 plus in to pull timming only when the nitrous solenoid is open. definatly ditch the stock plugs and go with something a little colder.

I have run a 175 wet shot for almost 4 years now with just the mods in my sig. Call it lucky...I call it fun :) I have since upgraded my fuel pump to the Walbro 255 lph unit though.

awalker, what kind of times are you seeing with your set-up, just curious.

yeah me too

My best run to date was is 11.63@118. That was with 4.10 gears and ET Streets, and spraying off the line. I knew it was going to break the rear, but I wanted to run a fast time. Rear didn't break, so I tried to back that time up with a repeat, and broke the rear :)

On your stock LT1, you could run up to a 150hp wet kit without any problems. If it's installed correctly that is... :)

Is a 50 shot enough to get a seat of the pants feel?

but my homeboy has 150shot on his 97ss feels great!!!:D


50 WILL NOT CUT IT!!

the lowest i went was a 75. i couldn't feel it.. but my 150 is definatly noticable.
