This is a NX wet kit, not spraying out of the hole and not spraying between shifts. Window switch is set at 3000 / 6100 and it shifts at 6350. Density altitude was 1186 ft.
11.80 @ 116.30mph with a 1.70 short time.
I'm wondering what kind of a ET I could get if I did spray from the get go and through the shifts??? Any ideas?

IF it dead hooked and the trans doesnt slip,i'd say around a 11.6 maybe a 11.5 in good air.

I would not suggest spraying any lower than you are.

If you're running a 2800 stall, it shouldnt hurt it to spray right off the convertor (assuming you can hook it). Id be skiddish about spraying under 2500, but 2800 should be no big deal. Now your tranny might not like being sprayed though the shifts though - some people have better luck than others - my 4L60 didnt like it at all.

At your power level, on a full pass, you should be dropping 8-10 tenths and picking up about 10mph on a 100shot.

Tranny has been rebuilt and can take anything I can throw at it. I was really waiting for some really good weather to make another pass...oh, maybe next year.

My suggestion wasn't for the sake of the tranny, it was for the sake of the motor. :o

well you saw first hand a bone stock lt-1 go 11.52.

And a stock TPI go 11.91.

Both spraying out of the hole and through the shifts.

Hey why not put the 150 in it and make that 10 sec pass ?

Do you want to take it to 41 this Sunday with lt-1 Tony and try it out ?

What BONE STOCK LT1 went 11.5x and what BONE STOCK TPI went 11.9x?

my stock 85 tpi vette with 135K on it went 11.91.

AK MOTORSPORTS bone stock lt-1 with $1300 worth of addons went 11.51 @116. He actually helped Greg achieve the 11.80, prior to that it was a low 12 sec car on spray.

the TPI was chucked in favor of a carb and the LT-1 will run faster next year too.

Oh and AKMOTORSPORTS also has a 68 that's gone 9.66 @ 148 on stock suspension with a 28X 9" slick. I guarantee you this car will make a 8 sec pass next year.

LT-1 Tony could also chime in as to his experience.

I like the way you put it, "bone stock with $1300 in add ons", in that case my bone stock '94 went the time in my sig with just $900 in add ons.

Apparently you don't see the point, even though you asked. By stock i mean complete stock , motor, EX. injectors . The cost was in the nitrous kit, tires and rims for the rear of the car.

Unfortunatly your spending your time being sarcastic when you need to look at your time slip and figure ut why your sig doesn't have an 11 sec time on it with a 115 MPH trap speed. Good luck i hope you figure it out.

I know it dosen't have an 11 second slip... yet it does have 115mph trap. I guarentee you that he had better bottle pressure and weather than me. And I have less money in to my car. Maybe you should just realize that it was an honest question. I just used your words to my advantage.

I just think that you don't like that I have less in to my car, and trap the same. Give me a bottle heater, and I will trap higher, run the 11 sec slip, and still have less in to my car.

if you ran 115 you have the correct bottle pressure to go 11's . You need a better 60' and you'll be there. Loose the window switch for a pass and you'll have it. Good luck, you'll get it soon enough.

Low bottle pressure, I have no heater, and I know all I need is a better 60'. :D

Not low but it could have been better.

And I don't see how a homemade dry kit is all he has into the car for $1300. :o
