Ok...I downloaded the program and I had one of the electricians a work make me a cable.
Do I put (ie:twist them up and shove them in) the 2 wire ends directly into my diagnostics terminal or is there some kind of plug ends I need?If so,anyone have a radio shack part #?
Once in,do I start the car and drive around? How many miles should I go?Normal daily driving style or should I hit the interstate a let 'er rip?

we need a lot more info than that.

what year car

obd1 or obd2

what are you trying to do.
if you tryng to pull codes in a 94 or up year model car. your not going to do it with out a scanner. and a interface cable. and i doubt your electrican can built that. if your trying to program the pcm with out the right cable it wont happen.

and what is winaldl

and where can we look at this software you downloaded.
