Plugs and gaps on a 300 + setup

Just curious what the big dogs are using for plugs and what gap are you running with a 300 + shot. I have been using the TR-6s for my 200 shot but just wondering if I should go colder with upping the shot to a 300 or more? I will be running the new NOS Nozzle setup once the new year rolls around and I will start off with the 200 pills to see what kind of difference a direct port setup makes rather than a plate system.

Thanks for any info

Use NGK R5671A-10 race plugs for a 300 shot. I use the -9 for a 150/200 shot. The higher the number the colder the plug. These plugs work great.

I like NGK #9's and about 30-35 thou gap. Make sure you have a really good ignition box.

Any shop that sells racing fuel and Nitrious will sell NGK product. At least that is how it is up here. Take your plug in and tell them you want the same style plug but in a (IMHO) #9 heat range. They will match it up and sell it to you. Good luck.

Make sure you flow your fuel system every pass or two and be careful with the timing.
