Thanks | Brian Desolate_Flux 11-01-2003, 01:20 AM Mine does that ever since I removed my aftermarket player and put the stock one back in :( Eliminator 11-01-2003, 09:13 AM Try to retightin the screws might be too loose. pvkn1ght 11-14-2003, 03:57 AM stereo is screwed in tight. and it still skips on regular cd's and cd-r's *doh* can anyone else help? Tair 11-14-2003, 04:16 AM Try not only tightening the head unit's screws, but also loosening it up a bit. It could be in there too tight. It's possible that the suspension inside the head unit is getting worn out. You could probably take it to a local repair shop as a last resort; I wouldn't expect paying more than $50 to make it brand new again. Then again, it could be $50 more towards buying another CD player. DO NOT use those CD cleaners (i.e. it looks like a CD with mini brushes on them) The are not intended to be used with mobile CD players, and are specifically mentioned in almost all aftermarket CD player manuals. | ||
