Just looking for input. Went to the track this weekend with new ET streets and a 150 dry shot on my Camaro. Only got one good run on the bottle. The second run, my clutch screamed at me "No way Dude. I'm not going anywhere!". Anyway, it ran a 12.62 @120mph with only a 2.0 60ft. The ET streets haven't got enough heat cycles in them yet and i'm sure the'll get a lot stickier and the new clutch will help tremendously. Just looking for opinions. I'm thinking with that kind of mph, I should be able to pull an 11.00 out of it. By the way, i'm only hitting the nitrous at 3000rpm with an MSD rpm switch. Thanks.

Assuming a track weight of around 3500-3600 lbs, and using your trap speed of 120, you have a theoretical best ET of 11.63. I'm sure an 11.5-11.7 is within the margin for error.

Thanks Josh. Actually, my race weight including myself is about 3750. Gonna have to wait till I get a clutch to see how much I can better that time. Was happy with the mph though.

Hope you have a 9" / 12bolt w/ the street twin. My friend w/ just heads/cam dropped the hammer from 5grand with ford 9", street twin, stock ds with upgraded u joints, and et streets and he snapped is ds right in two. Check out the pics:

Yeah, i've seen those pics. Still have the 10 bolt in it but am already anticipating the rear giving up at some point. Will be putting a 12 bolt up in there when it does. But until then, it's probably gonna be 2500rpm launches and see how long it lasts. My own little experiment I guess. Hehe. How long do the aluminum shafts last, cause thats what I have in there now? Replaced the factory steel one years ago.
