Anyone ever have this problem with Zex?

I just got the Zex wet kit installed on my Cavalier (lol, yes it's not on an F-body...but it's pretty much the same set up, minus a fuel pump.)
Well, I got it all set up, and had my friend rev it up with the switch flicked and it did the green-red light flash. So we turned it all off after a couple seconds.. Then I had him turn the car back on, and flick the switch again and I hear "click click click click..." with the green light flashing really quick.. :eek:

We turned it off right away, and I unplugged the system from the battery for a few seconds, hoping to clear the memory and then hooked it all back up. However, when you flick the switch now, you hear a "click" and you see the green light on (it appears to be flashing really fast).
Right now I have it unplugged, I hope it just needs some time to clear the memory before I program it again.
This ever happen to anyone? What did I do wrong?:confused:

when I installed mine a long time ago, I had a problem kind of like that. I think I remember the light flashing really fast also(cant ealy remember, lol)...but it would click. I ended up having the TPS wire(the white one from the NMU) hooked into a constant 5v TPS wire. It would cause it to click every time you turn on the system with the arming switch...then when i wuold give it gas, it would not click when it was at the point where it suppoed to click the solonoid. I switched the wire on the TPS that its connected too so that it was reading the wire that goes up and down in voltage with the throttlebody blades movement. Let it learn the car again...and was been perfect ever since.

BTW...the correct wire on my TPS sensor is a blue wire. There are three on mine...a black, white(or gray, cant really tell), and the blue. Make sure your white wire from the NUM is spliced into the correct wire on the TPS. Hope it helps. Later

I helped someone install a kit on their CRX and if i remember right the car was off (ignition on) when we did the TPS stuff with the pedal.

Yah, sorry.... I guess "reved it up" isn't right.. since the ignition is on but the engine isn't running.
I meant, push the gas... my bad...
Thanks for the help... you're right, had it on the constant wire, switched it over to the blue one and it works fine.
