3 inch Y-PIPE ???shwine617 10-25-2003, 11:44 PM I have the 69-80 350 block in my car with Hooker comp headers and 3 inch exhaust. The headers outlets are 3" and the exhaust inlet is 3". so i want to get a 3" Y-pipe. I can't find one anywhere! And i heard its alot of money for a custom made one. any help would be great! thanks ! A 3" y-pipe would simplify instead of converting from 2.5" y to 3" piping from both sides... any ideas guys? :bow: IROC5.7TPI 10-27-2003, 11:07 AM The 3" won't fit as the factory y is routed between the oil pan and front crossmember. If you were to route it as a new LS1 car has (y after the trans) you could get away with it but then u would be needing to modify the trans crossmember to get it tucked up nice. shwine617 10-27-2003, 11:31 AM i know they will fit cause my friend has one on his car in the stock spot. He has a different brand headers then me so it won't fit. | ||
