I hooked the cable up to my laptop and started Freescan 2.10 but I am not getting any readings. I have it on COM1 with a 100ms delay but nothing seems to be showing on the daskboard or status page. Any ideas?

Freescan help!Vomit God 10-24-2003, 01:06 AM I made my own cable and it works great.. :p Does your cable have the ALDL connector and everything? The only issue I've ever had was when using serial extension cables.. If the extension is cross wired (not a true extension), it wont give you anything.. The only other thing would be to ask you if the com port is enabled and properly functioning... You can plug a serial mouse into it and check that way..
