Hi,
Im having a problem with my center force duel friction clutch. Other than the fact that its junk, when I run it hard and get some heat in the clutch its almost impossible to get in gear and there is no hope of gettin it in revurse. Is there any way to bleed the slave on the T56? I am a former 3rd gen owner and Im new to the 4th gens. Any help will be greatly appriciated. Thanks alot.

Sounds like the brake fluid might be boiling or something.
To check for any bubbles though, first remove the slave from the housing (2 bolts) and open the resevoir.
Pump the slave in a few times, and have someone watch for bubbles.
If that doesnt work, and you need to bleed it, simply disconnect the line (by knocking out the rolling pin) and it should gravety bleed. When you disconnect the line watch for the O-ring that seals it, because its small and may pop out. Make sure you have someone to keep the master full of fluid while its bleeding, and make sure the slave is full of fluid when you put it back on.
Then repeat the first step of pumping the slave to get any air out.
If that doesnt work, you may have to upgrade to better brake fluid.

I also just trashed my Centerforce D/F in my '87 vette. I have yet to pull the tranny to see what happened, but I'm also suspecting that my fluid may have toasted also. I only had 12k street miles and 8 trips to the track on it with only 2 of those being on ET Streets. I was on my 10th pass of the day when it happened. On the 9th she held great like usual and on the 10th she just let loose and wouldn't hold worth a damn. Let it cool down and still barely grabs at the top of pedal release. I have no signs of leaking fluid.
I think I'm going with a Mcleod Street Twin this time around.

I have herd that the street twin is the ONLY way to go if you are makeing any kind of power or doing any heavy drag racing.
