I was wondering if a vigilante 3000 stall is too much for a stock daily driven car? The only engine mods I have is Mac Headers, K&N Cold air, SLP 2 on da left, LT4 KM and 160 thermostat. I also do have some suspension mods like lower control arms, pan hard bar, sub frame connectors and waiting to be install is LCA relocation brackets. Any help and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

Its not too much at all ....IMO alot of people like the 2800...But 3000 isn't all that much difference.....So I would go for it...you will like it......

I would go with a 2800 torque converter....You may have the OBD1 problem with the 3000.

cant speak for an OBD1 problem but 2800-3000 isnt gonna be much...i drive my 3400 stalled LS1 everyday...its weird for about a day then u get used to it.

a 2800-3000 isnt gonna be much for an LS1.....for an LT1 it will because the LS1 doesnt make power until higher RPMs while the LT1 has some sick low end. :)

good point.....i didnt really mean from a performance stand point tho i was just talking about how "loose" it would feel drivability wise.

I love my TCI 3000 and mine is now daily driven thanks to my truck burning down.

I have a Vig. 3000rpm stall. You will absolutely love it. The recommended stall for LT1's is 2800 but like everyone else said their isn't much of a difference. Driving around is wierd at first, but only for a few days to a week. After that it's just like normal. Plus tearing a$$ outta the hole will put a smile on your face every time. Best mod yet for me.

3000 stall is perfect.

Remember you get what you pay for with converters. The Vigilante is an excellent choice.
