This may have already been discussed but what is the best brake pad to use on a 2002 35th Anniv. Edt. Camaro? Any suggestions are useful.

Personally, I use Raybestos ceramic pads. Zero sqeal, virtually zero brake dust, great stopping power, and a lifetime warranty means you'll never buy pads again.

For rotors, I've found the $35 AutoZone rotors to work just as well as everything else, and a lot better than stock.

Raybestos are great and Ive always loved them but where can you get them? Everywhere I go they always tell me Raybestos doesnt make brake pads for my car or that they dont have any in stock.

Go to CarQuest. Raybestos makes their ceramic pads and extends all warranties.

i wouldnt give a ricer raybestos ceramix pads...they suck bad. i went through rotors like no other. i even had slotted rotors that i cant turn now, noone will cut them. the pads cracked, they didnt squeel, nor were they bad on dust, but all the trouble they caused, i think they suck.

id suggest hawk or ebc(?) green stuff...heard nothing but good about them, i have some mxs ceramics now, they are ok.

Either you got a bad set of rotors, or a bad set of pads. I've been running them for a while and have no issues with my rotors.
