The engine is stock LT1 engine that was fully rebuilt by S&S Machine Speed Shop in NYC (have all receipts). All parts are new: main, rod, cam bearings, freeze plugs, all bolts were replaced by Original GM LT1 parts, the pistons are new 10,5:1 Speed Pro pistons are Teflon coated hypereutectic race pistons + new set Speed pro rings. The Connecting rods are new original GM LT1 rods. The engine was never run!!!!!!
The labor includes (have all receipts):
-Cleaning (hot tank) and honing the block,
-replacement of cam, main and rod bearings (all new Cleveite 77 bearings)
-Cutting and polishing the crank
-installation of new pistons and connecting rods and assembling the short block
-new freeze plugs
New parts (have receipts):
-10,5:1 Speed Pro pistons are Teflon coated hypereutectic race pistons + new set Speed pro rings ($170)
-New connecting rods ($120)
-Labor + main, rod, cam bearings, freeze plugs + assembly ($415)
-oil pan gasket $25
-LT4 Cam (1996 Vette) $150 (cam is already installed)
-brand new Melling oil pump ($30)
-New timing set + all new seals and gaskets ($120)
The engine is already assembled and it needs heads and intake to be ready to install. I have a ported LT1 intake (to match intake gaskets) that I can include with engine for $200, intake was sandblasted and it looks like new. I will include old connecting rods and pistons (if you want them).
The cost f the labor and new parts is over $1000 (not including the $$ for old block, crank, timing cover and oil pan). I need to get $850 for it (you will pay for shipping from zip code 11416; weight of the engine is 300 pounds). I can deliver the engine within 100 miles from NYC (for the costs of the fuel only).
Other parts that I have for sale (all parts come from LT1 Impala engine with 55k miles:
-cleaned and honed LT1 block (painted red) $200 or best offer
-valve covers, stock rockers, pushrods, lifters, springs, shims, locks (+$80 if you buy the short block) or best offer
-throttle body $40 or best offer
