dont know the specs on it but it had sponser stickers and PROCHARGER written on the side of it in big letters. had a cage, slicks and skinnies.

it was funny cause i BUSTED HIS ASS off the line (my .321 to his .678, caught him sleeping  ) and held him off by a car until a little passed the 1/8th mile marker. he ended up running a 12.097 to my 12.365.

after the race i parked in the pits about two cars down and a few of his buddies were ribbing him asking what happened..(ie...what happend, that Z looks bone stock)
to which he replied.."he was spraying for sure"

i had to butt in and invite him to find my nitrous lines (not there) told him it was a cam only LT1 and i think i must have embarassed him a little.

he said he was running a stock bottom end,heads,cams,5 speed,4.xx gear, and 10 lbs of boost!!!!!!

cool guy, just had to bring his cockiness down a little in front of his buddies.....man im an ass!!!!:)

good kill....BTW 12.36 is BADA$$ for a cam only LT1.

3585 doesnt seem that heavy to me....my car is 3540 with me in it, full interior, no jack and spare, and i only weigh 140 pounds plus i have an aluminum motor which has gotta be lighter than an LT1.

I drive mine at the track the same way I drive it on the street (minus spare/jack). I weigh in at 3500 with about 2 gallons of gas in the tank.

sorry yall, i dont ever post in here so i kinda forgot about it.

the stang was a 99. i know that his car had more in it b/c he was trapping 118 and he had a pretty crappy 60'....so in this case the guy really couldnt drive (not directed to all stang drivers)
his car was a full out trailer car. it had next to no interior and had a cage, ect.

that race weight is with all the following removed:spare, jack, rear seats, pass seat, front swaybar and with me in it. car weighed 3425 without me in it.

these f-bodies aint light man

I weighed in @ 3500lbs with me (150lbs), no spare/jack and 2 gallons of gas. I have cloth interior with driver's side power seat.

my car says it weighs 3511 on the door jam and i am lazy so i didnt remove anything a i had 1/4 tank of gas so when i ran i probablly weighed like 3750 or so, i guess that, the sucky track prep, and the warm weather, all contributed to my sucky time (15@96 on 2.54 60) i also think the car might be i need of a tune up maybe not so much i need but i'd like to do it being that i have no idea when the previous owner did one

what the sticker on the door jam shows is the loaded weight for the front end and the back end you add those 2 #'s then it has the 2 #s for the max capacity for the for the front and rear you add those 2 then subtract them from the first # and you got your unloaded vechical weightthen you add my 200 with a 1/4 tank and thats how i got that #
