stock shortblock ... no heads no intake no cam ... that stuff can be had for dirt cheap

i dunno if anyones planning on doing a rebuild (or an LT1 transplant in a 2nd gen like u folks like to do)

already got my lt1 planned... why not keep it? weren't u just going to build another lt1.. 355 perhaps.

i said my car willl be a "milder" street car .. never said nothin about having less hp ;)

if u liked it now .. u'll love it next year ian ;) ...

it'll be in the 600+ rwhp range next year ... all streetable, will go thru aircare, will show up at the autox course (im actually getting autox tires for it ;) ) and will be bustin out mid to low 11s at the 1/4 mile (dont care fore 10s that much anymore)

nate: if u wanna build it up , ie buy heads and cam for it . mines perfect cuz it comes without any of that stuff for cheaper ..

either way .. something to keep in mind

ya i will, next month ill drop the motor and trans and headers as a whole on ebay and try to rip as much money as possable on a reserve bet, if not ill part it out on there and see what happens...

but i must get this stuff roy has its going to be awesome.

so ya ill keep that in mind and see how much money i run across.

Well what kind of shape is it in? Does it just need heads / cam bolted on and its good to go, or does it need a complete teardown and rebuild?

I assumed that it was just block and crank that were good.

the motor is in good shape .. bolt on heads, intake, cam and let 'er rip

its working really well in my car right now ...
