I know he is a very prominent member here, so do not flame me. I am in no way meaning this detrimental to him. I am just wondering, does anyone have or have had any dealings with him?

 

Yes! I've bought a couple of things from him, good seller!! Kept me updated on the status of the shipping and provided a tracking number too! Would do business with him again anytime!

Don't worry about flames, with some of the bad business going on this forum, it pays to be a little cautious!

The reason I asked is I sent him quite a large amount of money for a th350 swap, it is a killer deal though considering all the parts. I sent him the money almost two weeks ago and he still hasnt shipped the tranny. I know he is prolly held up with work or some other stuff, but it still worries a person a little. I am in no way saying he is ripping me off at all. He actually corresponded with me quite well and answered all my questions. I just havent heard anyhitng from him in almost a week and it is starting to scare me.

Timberwolf if you read this I am not trying to be a di$k at all man, just asking questions.

it has been six days since I posted this thread, and all I get is put off.
I am not trying to make timberwolf look bad, but my stuff still HAS NOT SHIPPED!!!!
I know work can get in the way, but my lord, the money order was recieved the 24th of SEPTEMBER

If I do not recieve a tracking number by tomorrow, as bad as I hate to do this, I will be in touch with the Battle Creek police dept.

I just find it ridiculous that it has been a MONTH he has been holding my money and STILL NO TRANSMISSION>
Hell, If you dont have the time to ship it, or dont want to, send my money back.

I told you Sunday that I would have it out this week. Today is Tuesday. You think I was going to ship a transmission overnight?

You have my email address and PM, as well as aIM name, if you have a question, just ask. Why after two days, one being a Sunday are you giving me more grif. It WILL be out today as I said.

 

Forget to mention that half of that time was held up because you said you couldn't meet me after that was the inital agreement? You said you understood it was going to be more hassle for me to get it all together and ship it, etc when you could have had this thing weeks ago and the night before YOU cancelled on ME.

I had to figure out how to pack a driveshaft and transmission along with the other stuff. Last week, as I explained already, was hell. I am in the same business as you and you agreed it has been a very busy time.

I'll have your tracking numbers by the end of the day and the stuff will be dropped off sometime tomorrow at the UPS center.

 

But When the transaction was in its early stages you were quick to respond, and once you got the money it went downhill. It looks suspicious. I am not trying to be an a## or anything, but all I wanted was the transmission, not a month delay. I just want to get this overwith and done. Trade places with me, let me hold your money, and not ship anything to you, you would be VERY worried as well I am sure. I am not angry or spiteful, I just want to get this transaction complete and I will take actions if not, I do not like to go this route at all.

And yes, I know I did change the plans, but that was three weeks ago Mike. That is plenty of time to ship it out.
Yes, I am in the same business as you, albeit on a different end, but I find time to make good on my personal dealings even though work is demanding. I will rectify this once everything is shipped out. You have my word on that.

Everyone has bad dealings, at one time or another. Someone always will feel cheated at one time or another. Mike Hasnt cheated me, nor has he directly lied to me. This may be one of those bad things happen at bad times deals. Either way though, it needs to be corrected.

I have no bad blood towards Mike, nor will I bad mouth him. I am just trying to get this transaction completed by whatever meas necessary.
