Got beat by a lightning...KeVMaN 10-15-2003, 12:38 AM I was takin a friend to work, came to a stoplight and a new style white lightning rolls up next to me. Don't think much of it. light turns green and he floors it with no warning. I jumped on it shortly after, my hood at his rear bumper. We stayed even til about 60 when traffic made me slow down. Would have been nice if he had revved so I could turn off the ac and put it in drive and launch. Oh well. When I was virtually stock (cheap cat-back, no cat, and a drop in K&N filter), I ran one from a 80-110 roll on the highway late at night and I crept away from them. They're turd ass bricks up top considering I walked away from him with 100 less horsepower. I was shocked, it was my first encounter with one. The samething happened to me with a F-150 Harley Davidson truck and I have another post about it, but basically if he got the head start, he will win. Thats with pulleys, exhaust, chip and intake and shift kit if you really need it.
