Removing rear spring isolators

noticed quite a few people on other boards have been removing thier rear spring isollators.....wouldn't this cause some sort of negative impact on the vehicle? Or does it really not matter?

I removed them, as the Global West 90lb springs were too long to get my desired ride height. I just slid a heater hose around the 1st coil of the spring. I notice a little squeaking from the heater hose, but at least there is no metal grinding between the spring and the spring pocket.

I plan on installing shorter 10 inch (& slightly stiffer 150lb) springs from Strano to fit on my Global West height adjusters, and reinstalling the isolators in the future.
