ls-1 brake upgradeonthemat 10-02-2003, 12:37 PM Has anyone ever run into trouble with abs sensors not fitting with the ls-1 brake upgrade? CPZ 10-04-2003, 03:38 PM I just read a very interesting discussion about just that issue on the LS1.com forum. The LT1 hubs and LS1 hubs are different, but the sensor for abs is the same and the plug is the same. The signal to the abs sensor is the same. A guy name Bob Bishop at "lateapex@charter.net" appears to be very experienced at LT1/LS1/C5 brake upgrades. regards, Cal 96Z autocrosser 2000 B4C 2002 TA WS6 convertable steve-d 10-04-2003, 05:39 PM Here it is: http://www.ls1.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=390509 LS1.Com Forum - LS1 brakes on LT1: Will ABS computer be able to understand LS1 sensor? Steve onthemat 10-05-2003, 12:48 AM Thanks guys that fully answers my question. It's time to do the upgrade. Bralgar 10-05-2003, 06:00 PM I received my LS1 brakes without hubs. I just used the LT1 hub assemblies from my old spindles since they were still in good shape, with the new LS1 spindles (knuckles, whatever) and it worked great. Besides aren't hub assemblies like $150 each? CPZ 10-06-2003, 09:11 AM I used the LT1 hubs on my upgrade. They are interchangeable, but I read that the LS1 design has a bearing upgrade. I plan on running my LT1 hubs until I have a problem (if ever). regards, Cal 96Z C-Prepared autocrosser with LS1 upgrade 2000 B4C 2002 TA WS6 convertable 2001 2500HD Silverado 4x4 6.0 67 Vette coupe prostreet bigdreamZ 10-09-2003, 08:17 PM Originally posted by Bralgar I received my LS1 brakes without hubs.
