Hi,
Shift that baby right around redline (6000 rpm) in each gear when you race it. If you're running the 1/4 mile (400 meters?), don't try to hold 3rd gear; shift that b!tch to 4th and accelerate through the traps at the end.

I had my car on a dyno to see where I start to lose power.
At that point about 5500rpm is where I get ready to shift, often shifting at about 5750-5850.

Your English is a lot better than some people that live here. :D
On my '01 WS6, the shift light comes on at 6000. I try to anticipate the light and rip into the next gear as soon as I see it. Some people say 6000 is too late since you're starting to lose power by staying in gear. I say that holding it in gear until 6000 gets me higher in the powerband for the next gear.
Your results may vary, so try it a few different ways and see which one gets you the best time.
