Cats bad again...Schismblade 10-01-2003, 01:54 PM Both banks this time.... I just got bank 1 replaced a few months ago and now both are bad. What could be causing it? All under warranty. Apparently, there was a bad batch that affected some 1999 and 2000 models. That fact that you had one replaced recently is troubling. Chenck into the cat warranty. GM may warranty them as much as 8 years. That info I got from a Chevy service writer. You'll be fine with the lid. Did you get both DTC codes? 0420 and 0430?
