ok,
I bought my newest car, an 88 formula 350, about 3 monthe ago, i am very happy with it. I got a great deal on it, and it has all the options you want with a 3rd gen tpi. My problem is this, my fuel gauge was showing a full tank last week, this week it still is, and i ran out of ****ing gas yesterday. Anyone know what this probably is, please dont tell me i have to yank the tank, and mess with the float thingie...

You will have to drop the rear end and remove the exhaust and then you can drop the tank, preferably with as little gas as possible. :D :D

Seriously, I don't know but if there is a connector somewehere between the tank and the gage, which I suspect there is, you could disconnect it and hook up a resistor or two to see if it is the gage or the sender. If it is the sender, do the above, if it is the gage, thank your lucky stars. I am just doing this from what I went thru with a MB but I think it should be about the same.
